MAPFRE MSV Life is once again this year supporting Business Leaders Malta in the organization of their annual conference. The annual conference, this year on the theme ‘The Resilient Leader’, has become an anticipated event for Malta’s most influential companies to be exposed to inspiring talks and participate in effective networking.

“We are delighted to support the Business Leaders Conference for the 5th consecutive year,” said Michael Galea, Chief Business Development Officer at MAPFRE MSV Life when presenting the sponsorship to Morgan Parnis, CEO of Business Leaders Malta.

“As the leading provider of Life Insurance solutions in Malta, we are pleased to be participating actively in this high quality event that is set to provide a most interesting forum for corporate leaders to discuss how resilience and adapting to changes in the market and consumer trends are essential to be and remain a leader in business,” added Mr. Galea. He congratulated BLM on putting together such a high quality conference programme. “This year’s conference promises to join the series of successfully managed events that each year bring together established companies that are doing well and others aspiring to go up to the next level, sharing knowledge and experience of pitfalls and success stories,” concluded Mr. Galea.

Thanking MAPRE MSV Life for its continued support, Morgan Parnis announced that the conference, being held on the 24th February at the Radisson Blu Golden Sands Resort and Spa will this year feature three inspiring keynote speakers, namely, Dr Andrew J. Shatté, President, Phoenix Life Academy from the US; Steve Mercieca CEO, Zanzi Homes & Quicklets from Malta and the UK’s Chris Moon who is a Former British Army Officer, Former Cambodian Prisoner, Ultra-distance Parathlete.

Speaking about the theme that is being discussed during this year’s conference, Mr. Parnis said that whatever the odds stacked against them, resilient leaders dig deep, adapt, regroup and keep going. What makes them different is their belief in keeping it together. They bounce back and see that, yes, the dots have connected. And most importantly, they learn from every experience. Resilience is not about skills or management – it is about the ability to stay the course, see things through, turn things around. Resilient leaders shoulder responsibility and take gut-wrenching decisions for the greater good.
