MAPFRE MSV Life Masters Football Player of the Month for October 2018 announced

RICARDO SEVERINO CONCALVES – Marsa White Stars – won the Masters Football Player of the Month award for October 2018. He was presented with a trophy to mark his achievement by Michael Galea, Chief Officer Business Development of MAPFRE MSV Life and Mario Meli, President of MASTERS FOOTBALL during a presentation held at the MAPFRE MSV Life offices in Floriana.

This is the second consecutive season that MAPFRE MSV Life, as sponsors of the Masters Football Premier League, is awarding the Masters Football Player of the Month.

The player of the month is selected by coaches and officials of the opposing teams by voting after each game.

Player Bio – RICARDO SEVERINO CONCALVES – Marsa White Stars

RICARDO, born in Brazil, started playing football at an early age. He showed potential and started playing with some established clubs. However his dream was to try and play in Europe.

He has been in Malta for some years now and it was two years ago that he retired from competitve football. He started playing in Malta with Fgura United during season 2012/13. He then went to play with Lija Athletics. He also played in Gozo with Oratory Youths. From Gozo he returned back to Malta playing with Swieqi United prior to retiring from competitive football.

Ricardo has been playing in Masters Football for these last two years. He started with Mosta and this season he established himself with Marsa. He already helped the team to win the Pre Season Tournament and he is currently the top scorer of the Premier Division. He is happy playing in Masters, which in his opinion, is well organised and of very high standard.
